Bear Stearns. It is really scary that most people have no clue how bail-outs like this will affect their own ability to get a home. When the government removes reponsibility from 'the big guy', the little guy loses in the end. I say we should let people make mistakes and let the chips roll where they may. It would be painful, but less so than the inevitable grinding crash that abdication of responsibility will usher in. Two words. Bear Stearns.
